The Base membership is the introductory level into the Mythril Mages, as such it gives access to the beginning levels of support and services.  The only restrictions that are placed on a base level member is they can not attend any on location even until after their first year and they have no voting rights in either the committee or council.  Also a base member may participate in any of the classes or workshops.  The one time registration fee is for the enrolment as a point of interest in the organization and does not expire.  The membership number is good for life as most who shy away from these practices initially will return eventually.
